Liz was originally a creation between myself and my long time buddy Bob Russo way way back in the MUCK days, around 1994. We were following the furry scene from pretty early on (Bob got involved all the way back in the mid '80s!) and we both shared an interest in more flatulent furry characters. There really weren't a whole lot of those to be found back then, so we came up with Liz. At first, she wasn't actually designed as a fetish character, and a lot of the early art we got of her from friends of ours (a lot of the more recent art too) doesn't feature any farting at all! We always designed Liz to be a bit of an everygal, the type of chick you really wouldn't think could fart like a racehorse, that's what makes her so fun for me to write! We came up with Liz's unique condition and started off roleplaying her a little bit, around '95. In '96 I put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard as the case may be) and started off writing some Liz stories. The one with her walking into the bar was the very first one, and from there I wrote more and more and me and Bob fleshed her out a little more. Liz is perky and bubbly, always down for a good time and enamored by a decent gag or prank. She may have her condition, but she doesn't let it get to her!

The idea for Morgan came pretty soon after Liz, as we wanted someone for her to play off of. In early 1997 I wrote the intro to Liz and Morgan's chance meeting at college. The idea from the get go was Morgan is much more of a girl next door, girly girl type, but she still finds flatulence hilarious and isn't afraid to indulge in it herself... however it took a couple years for me to write anything with Morgan adding her own gas to the equation. In the first few stories, she's there so there's someone to react to Liz's antics, and you'll find she was a lot less impressed by it in those really early stories. As time went on though, we both wanted to see more of Morgan in the spotlight, so we had her join in too with her own farts!
